Youth 6th-12th grade are invited to join the LCY in all of their activities and to look for us on Facebook and the church website!

The LCY will be selling a variety of spices and seasonings mixes.  You can place your order with any LCY member.  The spices will be delivered in time for Thanksgiving.  All proceed will go toward the Gathering in New Orleans.

We have 11 Youth who have committed to attending the National Youth Gathering in July 2012!  They are Blair Stokes, Rebecca Emanuel, Ellen Epps, Abi Hobbs, Chelsea Drennan, Jacob Fischer, Bill Christmas, Connor Caldwell, Sam Dauchert, Benjamin Emanuel, and Daniel Wagner.  The Youth will continue to work to raise funds, but the majority of financial support will come from sponsorships.  Several in the congregation have asked about the cost of sponsoring a youth.  We are still in the process of determining the estimated cost and will let you know the amount soon.

Trick -or-Treat So Others May Eat - October 23 and 30th -
We will meet after 2nd service on both Sundays and head to Subway for lunch and then go to the neighborhoods to distribute the bags/ pick-up donations. We will once again have bags available for the congregation to make donations. Pick up your bag on the 23rd and bring it back on the 30th filled with food items and put them in the narthex.  We will need some vehicles to help with the delivery/pick-up.  If you are able to help, please see Mrs. Goodson.
